I usually mix by making group tracks for guitar drums bass vocals etc, that recieve all the individual channels of their type so I can control them all together, once all those are mixed I feed them into a master group channel and do my final effects on the whole mix, and everything has worked fine until now.

When I make a new group channel after i have created my master group track, it wont let me output the new group channel to the master track since it was created after this.

In summary, when I make two group tracks, g1 and g2, I can output g1 into g2, but not vice versa, and thats what I need to do. Anybody know how to solve this?

You could use the aux sends to do that instead of the master routing:)

same problem still happens, even if i do it that way it will let me link g1 to g2 but not vice versa

something doesnt sound right here... if i undestand you your saying you want to sum a group to the master out after applying some other type of dsp or what ever to the rest of the trackshaving been previously summed??? im not sure why you need to do this way... but ok... and im not surprised they wont let you do it.... having said that i'll freely admit i maybe misunderstanding your purpose.... in any event what i would suggest is you try the cubase/nuendo forums at steiny... you are a registered user no??

Create G2 first.
