I'm from Belgium. We know England's more expensive than the continent, but the states ...

Mackie HR824 : in Belgium +$2,000 a pair. I saw them on the net for about $1,300 a pair ... that's just not fair
(anyone wants to buy them for me and send them to me ? :D :D )

But getting on topic: I never got where the Americans got the idea that French girls don't shave their armpits ... :D

I dont know about French girls. But I can tell you that I went to a german school and the female teachers did not shave their armpits and they went around with awful fuzzballs under their arms. Yuuukkkk:rolleyes:

Because we have seen it. I went to the Louvre and just about passed out from the BO. Apparently fresh air is bad for the artwork. A few hundred frenchies in an airtight building is a real fiesta for the senses. Don't even get me started on the Metro ;)

i dated a french girl here in montreal and she was the picture of perfect hygene, (not to mention drop-dead gorgeous... too bad she was an airhead), whereas my anglo feminist friend and a lot of her friends dont shave their armpits and have less than stellar hygene, to put it nicely.

Well, I once had a german girlfriend, she was also gorgeous. Her armpits were clean but her bush was a little "untamed" for my taste.;)

How can Shure justify charging the yanks $79 for an SM 57, but we pay £89? Whats going on there?

How is this any different than paying $200 for a Sony cam corder in japan, and $400 for the same one in the US?
Don't blame Shure, it's your country's import taxes my friend.
