Athmospheric space tune...or something..

Welcome ! Nice playing and recording.....

Found the drums were a little bright and bass/kick a bit boomy at the beginning but as the song progressed the tones seemed to fit in just right.
Not sure how/if I would eq that to make them more subtle at the beginning.

Very danceable, very 80's reminiscent......

Cool special effects throughout!

Pretty cool piece. Very enjoyable listen. Very 80s dance. But could also serve as a good dance track today. :)

The synth at 1:26 sounds really nice.

The wind tone at 1:40 sounds pretty cool. Interesting how you made it subside and then brought it back to start things up without a break.

I especially like the percussive/delayed synth that does that ascending descending "hook" motif.

Great to hear something without guitar that holds together (for me) as a whole song. Coz I'm about to try something like that myself.

Is most of this a real synth, or VST or other soft synth?

Thanx guys for listening and comments. I had some problems when mixing the bass and kicks, I have to do something ´cause they are not clear yet, well they are ok, but could use some fine adjustments. the song is definilitely a flashback from the 80ties.

The gear used: Roland jp-8000, novation supernova, roland xv-3080 (with expansion), korg tr-rack, cubase 5.1, sound forge 6, spirit fx-8, 2x genelec 8030a 1x 7050b, and some plugins.

..I´m from Finland so the text in my page is finnish.. :) :)
 
yo ido ang bigbubba, i checked some of your tunes, but i couldn´t write a post on your page ´cause i´m not a member so I write few words here.

ido: very good tunes, fresh sound, balanced mixes, wise use of stereo image gives nice spark to the tunes. lyrics are especially good. ready for radio. pro stuff.. :)

bubba: I liked your tunes too although i´m not a big fan of pop/rock, but it´s always nice to hear quality stuff and songs with spirit inside them. U can hear that overproduced crap all the time, so yours and idos songs sound very fresh and "you". keep it up!!
