A friend of mine asked me the question, which one is better for him. He currently has the perception 200, and was thinking about purchasing the PreSonus Blue Tube DP pre that comes with the 2041 mic package.
I personally have never used any of these lower end products so I couldn't tell him much.
He's using um.....
Behringer 8 channel mixer w/ FX (its shit, it's berry)
M-Audio 2496
Cubase
All that really doesn't matter. I told him the Blue Tube pre's are probably much better than the Berry pre's.
