At 4033

Hearing something is always a lot more useful than hearing it described.

Anyone else have any online recordings that used the 4033 for male vocals?

I completely agree with cyanjag and chess... (now there's a first! )

The 4033 is not in any way a "dark " mic. But it is possible that you might have a mutant that actually is dark.

That happened to me with a 414 that i bought a long time ago - darkest mic in my collection. But the vast majority of 414's don't sound anything like the one i have. It happens sometimes!

Hi.

I finally heard the 4033 - I wouldn't call it dark at all, if anything a little bright. But, pleasantly so. I do like it and are excited to use it. Eventually, I'll post my results here for all to hear.

Now, I'm deciding between a Studio Projects B1 or C1......
