Asio...ever?!

If Adboe doesn't include ASIO support with the next edition of Audition, I'd bet they never will.
 
I bet Adobe would do it. My guess is that Syntrillium didn't want to use Steinberg's drivers, just like they didn't want to use Steinberg's VST effects code.

Since Adobe has cross platform products (mac & PC) and welcomes third-party pluging makers, I don't think they'd be opposed. But who knows if they'll find it important enough...

I wouldn't be surprised if the wrote Audition for Mac Os either...

I wish they would get on it then! I am tired of tracking in one program and mixing in another :(
 
mmh not sure how you do it but i track with impulse tracker, a very old dos program (yes in XP)... anyways then i bring it over to postmod which is a track splitter renderer, then into cooledit. I have no problem with that.

it supports WDM as well, but only in 2 tracks, so if I want to record 8 tracks at a time, I need to do it in cubase or something.
