Art Price Drop

Yo $1.62................

I have a few pieces of ART gear (none of which are in those links)
An ART 341 EQ, ART DI, original ART MP and the ART TP, which gives me the most basic in preamp performance, nothing fancy nothing colorful just a capable pre for 180.00 @ Sammy's!

Really though, I was looking at one of the rack mount dual units with the digital I/O...

It'll be awhile before I can get my DAVISOUND... :D
 
I've got one {MPA} its not bad.. I've used it for guit amps with a 4033..Im gonna prob. also it for rack toms..I haven't used it alot yet..I'm sure that someone who has used it much more will give you a better "reveiw"..I paid $300.00 used also..

Yeah, I saw the VLA for under $350 in several mags recently. I've had one for almost a year now; certainly a decent unit for the price, and I paid around $400 for it. It's my backup compressor at the moment (typically gets used on the toms when we're miking the drums - the kick and snare get the good stuff) and I've been pretty pleased with the unit.

For what it's worth, the VLA is not even in the same (ugly) ballpark as their "under $150" line.

They dropped the price on the Pro Channel two days after I received mine in the mail. Typical. Price was 409. I dunno if the new real street price will be much lower however.

I was debating between the ART and the Meek VC1QCS. I couldn't really afford the ART let alone the Meek. So far I like it a lot. Lots of gain for my SM7. DI for bass and to dirty up synths and add a little punch to my amp simulator (it does). Bunch of IO's on the back so you can route out send and inserts. Very flexible. It has lot of options so I'm still discovering what it can (and cannot) do. I'm waiting patiently, like everyone else, for the RNMP for my 'clean' channel....
