I have a brand new, just released piece of gear that I don't need and was wondering if there's any interest here as I'm looking to sell. It is a Arsenal Audio by API R20 2 channel mic pre. It retails for $1195 and sells at Mercenary for $1000. I'd like to get in the $800 range. It literally is brand new. Only took it out of box to make sure there was no damage during shipping. The warrantee hasn't been registered (didn't come with a registration card - must have to register on line) and the unit still has the tags from the factory on it. This is a prize from a contest I won (Three years ago) that has been in limbo because my original prize was unavailable. The dealer just offered this unit to me and I accepted. I literally received it on Tuesday of this week. Unfortunately, since entering the contest at the AES show in 2005, my studio has closed and most of that gear has been sold...some to many members here (I'm on the good guys list numerous times).

So, I have this beautiful piece and NO use for it whatsoever. It's just been released and I'll include a link to the company website. If anyone knows API, you know their quality (and their price). This is a new line for them and I've never used this, so I can't answer specific questions about how it works or sounds, etc. Like I said, it's in the box, as I have no reason to take it out, and it will stay there...except to maybe take pics if needed. Any questions, please ask. I'm not in a hurry to sell this, but I do have another piece of gear in mind to buy. Thanks for looking.

Seriously...no interest in this?? These just got a rave write-up in Pro Audio Review and I believe EQ mag. Maybe it's the time of year and no one has this kind of cash at the moment. It really is a brand new unit but I can't sell it as such because I'm not a dealer. I'm looking to get a UAD-1 Ultra Pak so if there's any suggestions or if you'd like to make an offer, please let me know. Thanks.
