I just got an Arp Odyssey and whenever I depress a key the note will hold out forever, even when I let go of the key. It just holds out non-stop. If I turn down the VCO-1 and 2 sliders in the Audio Mixer section or if I turn down the VCA Gain slider, it will stop, but when you turn them back up you can still hear the note ringing out. I don't know if it's supposed to do this or not. Does anyone know if this is normal or what the problem could be?

Sounds like a problem with the gate. Try posting to analog heaven or synth DIY, someone there should be able to help you

I don't play, but I used to sell those back in the late 70's. Anyway, if I remember correctly, you should be able to adjust that by using the ADSR controls. (attack, decay, sustain, release). There may be one for each oscillator...not sure. That may or may not help you, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I figured it out. I was using the VCA gain slider to adjust volume, but I don't think I'm supposed to do that. If I keep the VCA Gain slider down and use the ADSR volume control it works fine. So I guess I'll assume there's nothing wrong with it.
