Are Studiophile Monitors good?

Well, what does everyone think? Who has them? How do they stack up against the competition?

Good info Middleman!
I bought a set a couple weeks ago and am very happy with them.
If you want to spend more there are better items available but for the $300.00 I spent I am quite pleased!

I have the sp8bs. They sound good to me but what do I know? Never heard any others. They sound better than the Fender PA speakers I was using. Good separation - you can tell where each instrument is in the mix quite readily. Very clear sound. Good well defined bass. I doubt you'll get any better for $300.00.
