Hi

I'm planning to buy an Apogee Duet to run with Logic Pro for recording guitars and vocals. I have heard the Duet in two different friend's studios and am certain that this is the best quality in my price range. However, as I am also looking to work in film and TV post production I am aware that I need to brush up with my Pro Tools skills. So my idea was to buy the duet to work with logic and then to buy the cheapest mbox unit available to get pro tools and simply export the audio recorded with the duet from logic to pro tools later. I just wanted to know if anyone else had done something similar because then I will be left mixing in pro tools with the mbox, a unit which I haven't used or heard.

Essentially I want the Duet for the great sound quality but need Pro Tools for my course/resume and am just looking for advice about the best way to utilise both in my studio.

Apologies if this has been covered already.

Thanks.
