As I said in the Cave thread, that is sweet.

apl, your use of a 6-digit serial number implies that you think there's a chance that you could build 999,999 of your beauties in your lifetime.

Or did you just think that 6 digits had a certain je ne sais quois? :D

Good work Arvo! Is it gonna get the headstock decal thats on your other model?

Dude, where's mine?

Nice. So what did you use, component-wise?

I could seriously dig a J bass like that.

Mighty Mite ebony fb compound radius neck, body off ebay, GFS pups, Wilky licensed trem.

How do you like the neck? Would you get another one like it, or pass?

I've got a strat copy that I love the body, but I hate the neck. Ebony sounds cool, too. Not sure about the compound radius, though. I'm pretty particular about how a neck feels, and apparently my hands aren't the same size as anybody else's.

Yeah, I'd buy it again. It's the same that's on Lt Bob's. I think the small radius at the nut actually makes it easier for big hands to play. The guy I get them from did a fantastic fret level crown and polish and nut cut on it.

The guy I got the body from got the order wrong three times and he let me keep the extras, including one he sent me as a make up that's routed for two humbuckers. Might put a pair of Carvins in it lol.

Nice job, apl.

Been thinking about doing a partscaster myself.
