listen to Bruce's recommendation on books, too. I bought The Enginner's Mixing Handbook and have been away from this site since then( well, at least spend 2 hrs less a day on this site). It walks you thru every step of mixing in a textbook style but not as annoying. I find it a lot easier to have all the info in an organized book than searching online forever. That $20-30 bluks will save your life.
