Anyone using the UR44C?

I'm a long time UR22/44 user wondering about the new version. Aside from the ability to power it via USBC (which doesn't mean much to me since I only use it at home) are there any improvements that would make it a no-brainer upgrade for me?

It does have USB 3 support. Not a lot of options in that price range with 4 mic pres and that. Not sure that’s an upgrade I’d you already have the 44 tho.

Full disclosure - I’m probably going to give one a try when Sweetwater gets an allotment. (The extra year warranty is what I’m hoping not to need but why they get some of my electronics business. F’rite 18i8 has a 3 year warranty but less outputs.)

I thought the USB C offers much more current supply and therefore improves the Phantom power, Preamp rail and all the other stuff running off the USB cable (assuming your pc has the USB C card)

the old is USB is 5v 500ma, < per Wiki>
A specific USB-C mode may also be entered, where 5 V at either 1.5 A or 3 A is provided

If you use a wall wart, that will eliminate that benefit of C power bump.
