anyone using aardvark 24/96 or q10 with sonar 4 studio?

hey all... i was just considering finally making a worthwhile investment in my recording "studio" that wasnt new microphones or gear... ive got a registered version of cakewalk 9 that came with my aardvark q10 and so i was interested in going the sonar 4 route since it wouldnt be that much $$.

basically im just wondering if anyone has had any issues with sonar 4 and aardvark products before? i notice aardvark is not listed under cakewalks list of recommended audio interfaces...

I own a 24\96 and Sonar 3 as well, Sonar should work with the Aardvark like a charm for you. I have a friend who owns a small record label and recording studio. He uses the q10 with Sonar 3 Producers Edition and everything works just fine. I've heard the recordings and theres no sign of audio stress at all. Seems to be a very clean recording. The way he records isnt exactly my style, but whatever floats his boat. He barely uses any processing. He just has the q10 right into the PC and recorded with Sonar.... no analog whatsoever. But for the beginning studio owner, its perfect for a base to build a studio upon. Since you're dealing with PC's there will always be little conflicts here and there that can be worked out. It really depends on the computer itself rather than the compatibility between the Aardvark and Sonar. Like I said, I would expect the Aardvark and Sonar to work just fine for you.
