Anyone try the MTS-30 sync for 424?

I'm looking for someone w/ expierence using the MTS-30 Sync to connect two 424's together.
My question is do you have to sacrifice 1 track from each player to sync together?

Robert,
The 424's are not synchronizeable.
The MTS 30 was required for early MIDI systems that did not feature their own SMPTE interfacing (most modern systems already have that feature, rendering the MTS 30 obsolete)
