That is more than a good deal. I have two of them and they get used quite a bit. Just check the input transformer. If it's a crimson you might want to call ADK and buy a Cinemag replacement for $75. The very early models came with the crimson's and then they switched to Cinemag. Worth the $75 to upgrade. The stock ADK opamps are decent though or you can upgade also. These are very well built pres and they sound great. Let me know if you ever want to sell it.

well...the guy has an endorsement with ADK and he said that if I ever have any problems or want anything done (he mentioned the transformers and op amps) to let him know and he would take care of it for me...also, he says this is a brand new unit so it may already have the cinemag transformer....

Well to be honest they are my goto pre's on alot of things. And I also have a Langevin DVC, 4 re-built channels of pm1000, a Presonus 96k, DMP3, Rane MS-1, EH 12ay7. The AP-1's do well on almost anything, and I prefer the DI's on them especially. The tracks stack well with them.

I plan to pick this up on saturday....maybe Ill get to use them within the next week....
