My free-time available in the New Year is going to be at a minimum. I have been trying to write a musical (really a musical drama) for almost 20 years. I am now well into the writing stage and want to put all my energies into this. So with a heavy heart, I've decided to put up for sale all the analogue equipment I've acquired over the last year or so. I just won't have the time to source tape if needed or a spare part, or tinker with a machine if it develops a problem.
I know the classifieds is the place to put ads but I thought I'd just post a thread here to see if anyone in the UK (I won't consider sending this stuff abroad) is looking for a machine. I have a Tascam MSR16 with DBX (1/2") in excellent condition, a Soundcraft Spirit Studio 16 desk that is new old stock.....it's never been used. I also have a TASCAM MS-16 (1") in a roll-a-round rack with DBX units, also in very good condition. This is coupled with a Soundtracs PC Series 24 desk with midi muting. I also have new old stock Quantegy 406 tape for both setups.
The only reason I'm contemplating this is because I've just bought a Behringer X32 desk which fits in nicely with me writing the musical and also meets the requirements of some live shows I am obligated to do. It will also come in when I produce my own musical.
So, before I stick the whole lot on Ebay in the New Year, if that meets anyone in the UK's plans on this forum, just message me and we'll take it from there.
