Anyone here use a mac to produce music

The company I work for are getting me a G5 quad with an M-audio 1814 sound card. I was wondering if anyone else here uses that sort of gear?

Love the quad, hate the FW1814. It's been nothing but a pain in the ass since I got it. Between the drivers having problems where it plays loops repeatedly and the general inability to sync with my FirePod (in either direction), I'm ready to throw the thing at the next M-Audio engineer I see. It's probably a perfectly cromulent interface as long as it doesn't have to play well with others.

i have a G5 and a digi 002. that is nice. I hate m-audio though.
