I live very near a professional studio - does that count?

If they're not too busy, sometimes they let me sneak in and play around with some of the equipment. Not usually any of their good stuff though. :(

"yeah...usually I only got one or two bongs, if I'm lucky"..."they'd keep it all for themselves..."(25 yrs ago, he said):D

most good stuff...i've never even SEEN it...much less actually been able to touch it
LOL

yeah, i'd love to be able to see and touch some high end gear. let alone use it!

ROFLMAO@Harvey..............I think the guy that owns that studio spends more than enough time teaching and consulting with the uneducated masses. :)

Where is Sanger, Texas anyway? West Texas?

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN.
Harvey, you slay me.:D

Sanger? It's near Krum.

Krum is not so much a place, it's a state of mind.

More seriously though, it's North Texas, as in somewhat north of the Dallas/Forth Worth metroplex.

Oh, well, near Krum! OK, should have said so!
North of Dallas would have been my second guess.

Actually, Fort Worth, Dallas, and Denton form a triangle with Denton at the apex. I live about 5 miles West (and 5 miles North) of Denton. It's out in the middle of nowhere, and not much to look at. The outsides are pretty depressing, but the insides are pretty high tech.

First time visitors usually always have the same thought when they first pull up to ITR, namely, "What the hell am I doing here?". Once they get inside, that thought usually changes to, "Oh, my God!". Especially since we added the new big room.

OK, now I know.
I didn't think you could go much further north of Denton without getting your feet wet in the Red River.

A little-known fact:

In Texas, a "Sanger" is the guy behind the mic doin' all the sangin'. :D

"Sanger"........also occasionally used as a slang term for sandwich.

Sure y'all needed to know that:D
