What I'm looking for is good artists to drum along with. I've been using Louis Armstrong for jazz rhythms and Lightning Hopkins for blues practice. I like thos CD's because they lack drum tracks. Now if I could find something up-tempo with no drums to confuse me. Any suggestions?

The "Turn It Up And Lay It Down" CD is supposed to pretty good. I've heard from several people that they like using it. It's available from most music or drum dealers.

I've also heard of people downloading MIDI files, opening them in an editor and muting the drums, then burning them to a CD and using that. Hope this helps...

Yeah I mute drums in my Yamaha sequencer and play along, I was looking for something with feel. Maybe I'll just remove the drums from TOOL with a parametric EQ...that'll be easy...yeah ...right.
