Anyone got the steinberg system 4 ???

Hi ,, just got the steinberg system 4 ( m14 interface and SL3 ), was just wondering if anyone out there uses, or did use, this package.
As i am new to recording (and cubase), i have loads of questions to ask, but will just ask one or two for now.
1/ As the m14 interface is phanthom powered, will i still be able to use my mic preamp, as it has some decent parameters on it that i would like to keep?

2/ I have passive monitors and a power amp for monitoring and listening to playback. Do i have to bypass the amp and just plug in my speakers jack sockets into the audio outputs on the m14 ????

Would really appreciate some advice, as i will be setting it up properly in the next day or two. Shifting my rack around and sorting out cables, before i get the cubase up and running.

I don't own it, but here are your answers.

Question 1: Yes, you will still be able to use your preamp. Turn Phantom on the preamp on, phantom on the interface off. Run preamp out into line in on interface.

Question 2: You will need to run your line outs from your interface to your amplifier and then to your speakers.

Many thanks for that info. I sort of presumed that was how to do it, but just in case i blew the thing up, thought i would get some advice before i set it all up.
