Today I recorded my vocals thru my peavey transfex pro guitar-amp because some connecter I need for my mic-pre (which is an over-paid behringer sharc dsp100 with nice features like low-cut, compressor, noise-gate, feedback-destroyer which I don't need) seems to be a bit damaged...
now guess what: it sounds better. at least I still think so - maybe tomorrow I won't like it anymore... it's like that very often.

Hey...If it sounds good....Go for it.

I have the same problem. I'll record a guitar track one day and think that it sounds awesome. Then a couple days later, i'll listen to it again and wonder what the hell I was thinking.

I think everybody does this to a degree...but I gota be one of the worst.

... I still like it. Maybe this time it lasts! (does anybody want to buy a behringer by the way?) ;)

Don't want the Berringer; but, I'd sure like to get a couple of pounds of the great cheese they make over your way. American cheese just doesn't make it.

I think once you get a sound you like that you create and record and tweak, your brain says, "...that's nice but there must be something better...."

And, so it goes with recording.
