I've got a special request. Our studio guy pretty much fucked us over, and all I have is the stereo tracks to our songs...my plight is this:

Does anybody know what I can do to EQ the mix a little bit better as a whole? I'd like to get a little more "presence" as well as a little wider sound, but I have NO clue as to what I'm doing. I've made a pitiful attempt, but I'm sure someone hear can give me some clues as to either do it better myself, or someone could play with it for 5 mins and be a real pal! LOL

Two tracks... left and right.. not much to do there, But upload them somewhere. preferably wavs.. On a webspace of your own or a web based filesharing service and post here the link to them.

can ya post a clip or a tune to hear what we are dealing with???

If the overall mix is decent, it can be worked with fairly easily and quickly, but if the mix is horrible, well you can polish a turd, it's a lot harder to put a shine on diarrhea..
