Unpossible!
I am thinking of upgrading to a two CPU motherboard with AMD dual core CPU's. Looking for anyone that has that kind of setup.

Im building a dual single core system like one of his, with the ability to just add dualcores as soon as the dualcore prices drop.
The Supermicro H8dce and the Tyan S2895 seem to be the popular mobos for this. Im going with the TYAN and a pair of 248's for now
Theres a nice ADK system like this already built on ebay, or you can go straight to their site

I am rolling my own, at a bout a third of the price, but it would be nice to just grab one of these already done

I have an issue with though. now my cubase act up. at first it would show the vst performance meter jumping up and down. then I would go to the advance setting to enable mutiprocessing. and then it would just hang with the processor meter in the task manager at 100%. even though I did have a project open. just the program running. I researched this and found some forums of the x2 and the A8V deluxe motherboards with issues. like the motherboard did not support processor beyond a 3500+ CPU. So I whipped out my old cubase LE and it works fine. but the issue I found was with the A8V deluxe board. I dot know if this happends with other boards. but any way I getting a new board some time this year.
