Ive been rappin wit ma flow for quite a while, and ive decided to start recording, so I bought the cubase software for home recording purpose. I have a decent mike and a good headphone wit ma pc here at home. My microphone is really a great quality, but my voice turned out sort of 'raw' on speakers. I sound better if not on speakers =( . So ive tried right-clickin my voice recordin track thingy on cubase and i realised that we can modify or amplify our voice under the 'plugins' headings. I clicked on "modulation", then "chorus" but it still dont sound right (for me) on speakers... What u guys reckon i should use on the 'plugins' for the voice on a verse. Ive tried different combinations and it just doesnt satisfy me =(
..better yet, any of u guys know the right 'plugins' combinations for a chorus?
I like how voice using "metalizer" turned out but its kinda too...err..... haha.
yeah... help me guys any tips? I want to know what u guys recommend, cuz i have a good mike. The aim is; "make the verse sound good in speakers" (home recording~)
