I'd appreciate your advice on this Yamaha vs. Boss issue...
Does anyone have any thoughts to share about the quality of effects (including modeling) and rhythm machines built-in to the Yamaha 2816 (or new aw16g) vs. Boss 1180 recorders--i.e., in these recorders or any similar in the $1000 range?
In particular, does Yamaha or Boss generally do a better job of
producing quality effects, especially for guitar, and realistic drum
tracks that are easy to assemble? (I know that one can import CD tracks in these machines, but what about the quality and ease of built-in samples?)
Thanks for your thoughts,
J.
