Not quite a newbie
I don't know if this is a common problem amongst steinberger bass owners but another of the bridge claws broke on mine and i've searched all over the web for a replacement. The cheapest i could find was in a used listing for 35$ and the only other option is a 75$ lifetime warrenty one. (I bought a replacement about 2 years ago for 20$) but i think its the same one that broke again. Since I've had this bass for about 10 or 11 years now I'm anticipating the remaining 3 will break soon (one was broken when i bought it)
I'm kinda stuck cause thats about 300$ (the bass was only about 800$ new)to replace all 4 and hopefully never have to worry about it again or figure out another solution...any thoughts or suggestions? Maybe repace the bridge alltogether and do a little surgery?

I gave my old technical teacher from high school an existing, unbroken claw & he made me four new brass ones :) been sorted for years now :D

I did check musicyo...not with gibson...but I'm thinkin maybe i can take one to a machine shop or something and have em make a few (haven't really checked on pricing
in that area yet..but who knows) thanks for the tips
