yea the color is blue which reminded me of the ocean and free willy and the guitar reminded me of the name uncle billy which seems like someone who would go on a boat watching trip to see whales

I had a '56 Les Paul Custom. Her name was Beth - sweet as molasses.

It killed me when I had to sell her, so now - no names.

I built a couple of SG replicas, sold one to Buck Dharma which he used to play Dont Fear the Reaper at BOC's live shows back in the 70's & 80's. I just had to call mine the reaper SG for obvious reasons.

Yeah, so I think that your answer is yes.

I find that there are some guitars that find names, and some that do not. And I find that the ones that do not have names eventually get traded or sold...but the ones that do have names stick around for a while...

The three logical conclusions here are: (1) some guitars just get used more often and become familiar, (2) all guitars have personalities and some suit me better, or (3) I'm crazy.
