Any MySpace wizzes hear?

Trying to upload new songs on a my space page via the designated mechanism.

I'm instructed to click the Find Songs button, which I do, but nothing happens.

I'm assuming this is some technological add on that perhaps my standardised work browser won't deal with.

Anyone have any clues? Reading the help / FAQs on the site indicate that I'm by no means the only person having these issues!

Hmmmm that's interesting. I've never encountered any problems! Perhaps you're right and it's your work browser...what web browser are you using?
 
From your Home page, click on the "My Stuff" link at the top, the menu that pops down has 'Songs" with Upload underneath it.
 
It's IE8 but I work for a major corporation who have to be quite vigilant about online security and have a tendency to cripple functionality that they see as risky..

I have the same problem with photos but MySpace has a "basic uploader" which is just your basic browse window that we're all familiar with and that works fine.

I'm assuming it must be some Java or Flash thingy... I might try it from home and see if I have better luck...

Thanks mjb - it's not that I can't find where it is, it's that the eventual Find Songs button doesn't actually do anything...

Yeah, it's probably your work's security settings or something like that! I can't imagine that IE would be a problem. I just went through and checked on Chrome and it worked fine for me!

Cool - that at least tells me it's not a MySpace issue. I'll give it a go tonight from home.

Theory proved correct... some browser lock down thang.... no probs from home, apart from general myspace flakiness...
