Any MoreMe headphone owners here?

Folks,

Thank you for bringing this subject. I could not find isolation level specs for Shure E2. Tell me more about these guys--how accurate they are? Any other suggestions?
I need something for live piano mic placement with as little bleeding as it is possible. The accuracy is important. Price... I would like to stay in $100-150 region, if it is possible. If something completely blows my mind, then could go higher.
What would be the ultimate choice?

I have 5 sets of the MoreMe headphones, and they just plain work for me. Nothing fancy, but they work. I've had three different musicians comment favorably on them. I'll be ordering some more soon.

(I'm not trying to stack the deck there, just wanna give the guy some accurate feedback about the headphones.)

Well, this has indeed gotten out of hand, and is way past spam. If you look at the original post, the situation is pretty simple:

The original poster posted in the proper forum, which is titlied: "Other Equipment and Reviews". I saw it there and posted my comments there, but since I'm the guy that sells these, my post wasn't exactly unbiased.

So I came here (because I know a lot of people here bought them)and asked if people would please post their thoughts about the MoreMe's in that forum. This thread should have been exactly one post in length, mine.

No links, no hype, no call for discussion here, just a simple request: If you have the MoreMe's, can you go over to "Other Equipment and Reviews" and tell this guy what you think of them, good and bad?

I regret all this discussion here about a non-microphone related topic. I apologize for my indescretion. It was not my intention to turn this into a long discussion here. It's inappropriate and doesn't belong in this forum.

How? I'd love to do that. I tried to edit and delete my original post, but got this message:

Sorry Harvey, my mistake - I didn't realize there was a time limit. I was just used to reading this:

"Delete? To delete this post, check the box to the left and then click the button to the right.
Note: deleting this post will result in the deletion of the entire thread if this post is the first post in the thread."

Let's see - 727 minutes? That's 12 hours and 7 minutes or 43,620 seconds. I wonder where that time limit comes from?

Anyway, don't sweat it. It's still far, far from the most useless thread around here.

I liked Harvey's post and do not consider spam at all. But anyways to answer Mark's question:

with emphasis on "as little bleeding as possible" I would not recommend the Direct sound Extreme Isolation headphones. However, they will work better for mic placement on piano than drums simply because drum sounds bleed a LOT more into the phones than a piano.
FWIW, I have a Panaflo 92mm exhaust fan in my computer that is rated at 30dB and I can still faintly hear it with the Extreme Isolation headphones (rated @ 32dB reduction). But I noticed this sound and this is something I noticed with the phones, I can hear ambient sounds.
The only other phones that allegedly offer better isolation that I know of are the AKG K171 (-43dB & $149), but I haven't tried these yet..
Also, when I was thinking of purchasing the Extreme Isolation headphones, I couldn't find specs anywhere on reseller's websites. Since it lists them on the box, I'd thought I'd help any potential buyers:

Are you sure about this -43db figure? I am wondering because
I could not find this spec for K171, but I found it for K271, which is supposedly similar (little better) headphones, and isolation is only -23db.

Marik I have the Home Recording Magazine where they refer to them as having -43dB isolation. I'm not sure, but I contacted an AKG official who later told me in his testing the K171 also had about -43dB of isolation. The magazine article stated that the K171 had better isolation, but the K271 had slightly better sound quality. I posted the AKG official's response in the Extreme Isolation thread that DOT reviewed. fyi.
