any comments on Yamaha SY-99 and is it good to buy if the price of 2nd hand is US$500?

Info you can use...
It's one of the heaviest keyboards I've ever had to lug around but it has a good, unique sound. No CD drive nor USB nor other modern workstation features --- lay in a supply of 3 1/2" floppy disks if you buy it.
It's a sample playback / FM hybrid by design and as such is great for programmers into such things. I remembered the presets as sounding better than they actually do, but with just a little tweaking the sounds get much cooler...

It is/was a good keyboard. A mix of a rompler and FM synthesis, I suppose it can do a lot if you are good with programming FM. $500 sounds a little high but they may be hard to find. I would offer $400.
