i was lookingat the used equipment in 8th street music,and they have a used 840ex for 495$ now as far as the br-8 ,this is the next model up?or is it the same,just different users intended?would it be considered an upgrade from my br-8? i would like to know if anyone has used both and what are the pros and cons compared,i have had the br-8 since they first came out and i enjoy it so very much,i really have gotten to know this machine inside and out and really make it work for me.but,i plan on going to a computer just to diversify for eventual professional work(music for video,film,t.v.)although as far as my own personal projects everyone that has heard my work on the br-8,asks why i would want anything more or why am i not satisfied with what i have?or that i have pretty much gotten the best sound i could with minimal equipment,that what more do ineed?as we all know you never have enough ,or we always want better,that's why.so,what would i gain ,if i decided to trade in for 840x,or do i lose out?anyone?
