So I've been out of the recording scene for a little while. But I've lately been getting back into it, and I'm thinking of going all out and buying a few things. I've aquired quite a bit of home theatre stuff. I've got all the parasound amplifiers and bowers and wilkins speakers and stuff. But it doesn't work too well for recording I've found. I also have a lexicon sound card with some pres in it. I don't remember what model but it has four inputs basically. So I'm gonna sell it all off and buy everything a new.
The point:
I'm really curious about these Adam monitors that fletcher sells. The only ones I can afford are the A7s which go for a grand a pair. They have an award as best monitor from someone who decided to make up another award to give a piece of sound equipment, as everyone seems to do for just about every entry level product created by a prestigious brand. But fletcher endorses them, and that's usually a good sign. I'm really wondering what people think of these? And how would they compare to say, the new event speakers that came out for 600 bucks, and maybe the KRK Rokits/old KRKs. I dono, lemme know what you guys know.
