Ok sorry for my lack of knowledge in computer recording.......What is the difference in a firewire conection and other audio interfaces??????? Which is better in your opinion?

A firewire connection is faster than usb 2.0 which, in turn, is faster than usb 1.1

Generally, faster is better. However, I used an Mbox with a usb connection with a few latency issues at times. If you can afford the firewire, I'd recommend it.

Thanx for responding........So basiclly they do the same jobs but firewire is faster?

That's the gist of it. Firewire is used in many types of Audio and Video Hardware for that specific reason. USB 2.0 is great, but standard Firewire beats it.
