Aight, here's the deal. I only have one purpose for my studio right now and that is laying down my vocals over beats I already have from producers. I only need to get my vocals to sit and play nicely with the beat. I've been recording and mixing with some no-name brand computer speakers for a while and sometimes get lucky after days of tweaking and come out with a joint that sounds nice in the club (I'm a DJ). But I'm sick of runnin back and fourth testin out my tracks and gettin shitty sound.
So, as a simple rapper/mc that isn't interested in producing tracks (not right now but maybe soon...), which monitors do you all think would be good? I just need some monitors to do their job and make the songs sound shitty when the sound is shitty, good when the sound is good and not as good as on other home or car systems.
If I was still in the US I could walk into Guitar Center but I'm in China so things (language) are a little different...
