i just downloaded the analogx volcal remover.....and i currently have cool edit...and acid music studio(the cheap version of acid pro)...and i was wondering what program the plug-in would run on.....and how would i apply it...i never used a plug in before, and i need some help..thanx

Since Analogx is DirectX, you will probably have to use ACID. I think that Cool Edit Does not support DirectX plug in effects, but it was added when it changed to Adobe Audition. I'm not sure how to do it in ACID, but in Sonar, each track has it's own effects bin that you right click and simply add the effect.

i had Cool Edit 2000 before, and i know it supported DirectX plugins. so your Cool Edit should be able to handle it. there should be a menu in cool edit that's just for DirectX plugins. if i remember correctly, i think Cool Edit already had a vocal removing plugin built-in to the program. i think it was under the 'amplitude' section of plugs. i forget, since when i had to move Cool Edit to my new computer, the company had changed to Adobe and they wouldnt help me out in finding my old serial number thing. sucks too, cuz i realy liked using that program for editing.
