Hello,
i have been working with a digital mixer recording vocals,
but after one week i will get a 24 chanell analog mixer . Is there a possible way to connect it with pc/mac for editing the record in real time ?

i have heard of a/d converter ...

please help

Should be no trouble. Go from the out of the mixed(should be RCA's) to your computer line in 3.5 MM It should work without any problems.

And which a/d converter is best for a budget price ?

thx

Sorry, I just use Reaper to get my final mix to CD. I do as little in digital as I can.

The suggestion is that you input from your mixer to the computer via the Line In on the computer. This connects to the Sound Card in your computer which is an A/D converter in is own right.
You have a choice of using this method. OK if the sound card is a quality one.

OR buying an A/D converter and feeding into your computer via Firewire or USB.

OR buying a Mixer with a USB/Firewire output and keeping the A/D inside the mixer.

Note: you will need a 24-channel interface from the mixer into the PC if you are using all tracks at once and want to edit them separately If you just want to hard-mix to stero output, then that stero out can go to the stereo in on your soundcard (or a USB/firewire device).

here's an ideas

If I'm getting you right you want to mix your digital track using the analog mixer.
this is totally possible and could yield a pretty awesome mix (depending on the mixer)
It might cost a bit, but i would go for a motu 24 i/o it will allow for you to pull out 24 tracks separately into your 24ch mixer and you can mix it using real eq and fader, you could also hook up an effects unit for reverb and what not.

this might not be what you were asking but........
