Analfest 2007

AFTER MUCH TO DO WITH nANCY'S SPRING BREAK, AND THE WEATHER HOW'S ABOUT.........April 13-14-15.....thw weather should be good for camping, and ma will have that full week-end off to help me out. I fully hope I will be able to at least strum by then, but that maters not. the fellowship is more important to us. so check the dates and plan your trip. I'll have the cooks lined up.

I really hate to bring this up, but we just may have to have any donations sent in kinda like jamfest due to the fact I did not work the last months of 2006, but if'in all goes well I'll have a few months work in spring, and if this does happen we won't need pre-fest monies. more on this later.
 
Is it going to be in South Boston, VA again? If so, count me in this time around.

So is this a fisting event? I can assume that both true-eurt and wilko will be there.
 
looks like a great turnout this year. hopefully the weather will be on the good side. we just pasted the date for last year's and we had the exact same rainy cool weather. I'm thinking.....ii
ll need ltsa help on prep......putting up the tarp, and I'm thinking this year we will try to set up my small PA system and treat the basement like a coffee house, and just let folks play whatever they want to. doing this, we more than likely won't need to mic the drums or percussion. but have mics for acoustic guitars, mandos, and vocals. now if anyone has plug in acoustics we can run those direct or bring your d1 boxes. we have an amp for the bass and a couple floor monitors. we may need a couple mics.....I have 4-5 sm57 and a couple sm58 type mics so if'in anyone wants to bring a mic and stand do so. we can go 8 mics. the more the merrier.

I actually would have liked to have gone, but I couldn't block out another weekend of gigs. I HAD to block out Jamfest weekend because a gig screwed that up last year and cut my Jamfest short, so I'm not gonna let THAT happen again. Dan...you understand...right? Maybe I'll make it there next year, but for this year - I'll see you at JF7!!!!

Home now. Had plenty of good clean fun...and some of the other kind of fun, too. Thanks to Dan & Nancy (& the many other festers) for their kindness.

The weather is frigging fantastic!
