Returned from the dead
So I got the hum problem figured out that I had in my last post in the guitar forum, but now I've noticed that when I'm playing clean sounds through my V-amp into the fx return I can still hear (only slightly) the distorted sound from the amps built in pre-amp. Now to me it's no big deal but to a microphone I'm thinking it might become painfully obvious.
In the amps manual it says "The effects loop can be defeated using the optional footswitch"
Well I made the footswitch and now the amp isn't "defeating" the FX loop like it's supposed to. Any Ideas to fix the FX loop? Yes, I know roll back the volume for cleans, and/or get an overdrive pedal are options for getting clean sounds, but I'm more worried about the fx loop working properly then I am about clean sounds.
