Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing a preamp is just an amp. The "Pre" part refers to its location in the sound chain.
Right?
So here's my main (second) question. Could I use my clean sounding guitar amp as a pre-amp for vocals? It has an output jack. I know, I could just try it out, but I'd like some thoughts on why this would or wouldn't be a good idea.
Meanwhile, I continue to be outbid on ART tube MP's on ebay. Very annoying.
