Hey All,
I have an album that I will soon be burning to disc to make a master CD so that I can get it into distribution.
My tracks are mastered in Protools 9 at 24bit 48khz with the Waves L3 Multi Limiter.
I need to eventually make dithered 16bit 44.1khz file .wav stereo interleaved files so that I can burn them to a CD with them sounding the most like my 24bit 48 tracks.
In the Waves L3 Multi Limiter, there's an option for Dithering that I have turned to none (because I want to use the Ozone Maximizer Mbit+ Dither as it is better.)
I've read that it is best to downsample from 48khz to 44.1khz and stay at 24bit. How do I go about doing that? Do I simply bounce to disc at 44.1khz at 24bit? Then import that file into a new project and then apply the maximizer mbit+ dither plugin on the master fader and bounce out to disc again, but this time to 16 bit 44.1khz?
Thanks,
Will
