hey guys,

still cold here in ohio but i feel like spring cleaning. here's some stuff i'd like to get rid of. some prices are firm, some aren't, try me :-) i don't need much, but i could be tempted by a ribbon mic or something of the sort...

1) ua 1176 reissue - i bought this new just a couple months ago and haven't even filled the warranty card. it just has too much class for the likes of me :-) $1100

2) panasonic sv3500 dat and a whole crap load of dat tapes (like 30+ or so) - 18 bit, xlr balanced i/o and coaxial digital i/o. i don't know why, but these are great sounding dats. i just don't use it anymore. oh, and i have the wired remote too. works and looks perfect. $200 ???

3) tannoy 6.5 passive monitors - in perfect shape. i bought these as an alternative to my ns10's. they are a bit different and gentler on the ears, but not different enough to keep. still have the original boxes. $175

4) electric mo-fx - bought new and never used it. $200

5) electrix filter factory - bought new and never used it. $200

6) hofner clavinet d6 - in absolutely perfect playing condition. recently gone over by a pro tech with new tips and such. has a few mars and sratches, but overall looks great. $750

7) farfisa vip double slalom organ - you just gotta hear this. it can do the cheesy farfisa thing and way more. includes everything, case, foot pedals, 2 volume pedals and is in perfect playing and very good cosmetic shape. $450

8) hofner pianet - sounds somewhere between a wurly and a rhodes. very cool. in minty shape inside and out. $200

9) neutrik 48 point, 1/4" trs balanced patch bays - 2 available and both in great shape. $35 each

shipping isn't included on any of the prices, but i can ship thru work for pretty cheap. i can even ship the clavinet and farfisa via truck for less than $100. i can take paypal, check, whatever...

thanks!

Hey there fellow Nati'an!

Finally feels like spring this weekend!!

I need something for multitracking I can transfer to PC, so that dat might be the ticket.

Rock on,
Pat

that nati!

hey pat,

a fellow porkopolian!

nah, a dat is only a stereo recorder. l/r, not 2 single channels really. tho i guess you could use it as dual mono... i don't think a dat is what you're looking for. try posting a q to the appropriate forum. also, why not multitrack with your pc?

later,

tony

Thanks Tony!

Yeah I checked ebay and found out it was two track about an hour after I sent ya an email and posted... ah well...

Just thought if I could track a couple channels w/o PC noise and hassles for ~$200 it would be a pretty good deal.. You're right. A DAT isn't what I've been looking for but lately I've been getting really frustrated using my PC.

Currently have a SB Live Platinum, Lexicon Core 2 and Tascam Porta02 for recording purposes.... The Porta02 is actually the lesser of three evils... Lexicon is a piece o junk that I should have thrown into the Ohio long ago, and SB only gives me two noisey laggy tracks at a time...

Thanks for the low down though, I appreciate it

Pat
