Alesis SR16

Hi I have an SR16, which I've had for a few years. I have loads and loads of stuff on it.
I'd like to clear it out and start again. Doe's anybody know, is there a way to reset everything back to factory settings?
Other than deleting everything one piece at a time.

I've never done it but this is from the manual:

"To re-initialize, turn off power and wait a few seconds. Press and hold the PLAY and ERASE
buttons while turning on power. Continue holding these buttons down for at least three
seconds after turning on power."

I did read the manual, but couldn't find that bit, I should have looked harder.
