Someone tell me how to program a 3/4 beat with this thing. The manual is way over there, and I'm not going to the Alesis website to try to find a link.

Keep it simple, too. And hurry.

Also, tell me that this is the wrong Forum and suggest that I'd get more responses if I post it in the other Forum. Just do it after you give me the answer.

In Compose mode, press RECORD SETUP. Then press PAGE UP until you see 008 BEAT LENGTH. Set your pattern beat length to 3, or a multiple of 3. That is, change 008 to 003, 006, 009, 012, or some other multiple of 3.

Well, he's probably recording the output of the drum machine, and he was requesting "the systematic procedure by which a complex or scientific task is accomplished," which is one definition of technique.

So I gave him a free pass.
