Hi all. A while ago I got a set of
Alesis M1 Active 520 . I can't seem to make up my mind about whether they're good or no. They just seem to sound so dull, like something's up in the mid-range. Does anyone have experience with these monitors?
I've used the MKII actives.
Actually they seem to make the mix sound better than it really is.
Was your evaluation with a commercial CD or with one of your mixes?
They seem to over ephasize the bass and don't have much high end.
I eventually went with Whardales Diamond series which were much
more accurate but fatiguing to the ears. I waiting for
Adam A7X ,s
to ship they've been back ordered for weeks.
