Hello All,
Totally new to cubase. Have an Alesis IO/2 audio interface (which came with cubase). Window XP. 3GB RAM, Core 2 Duo processor. Seem to have set it up correctly and have been recording ok. I am intrigued to know how the zero latency (or monitor mix) knob works. True enough, I play along with a backing and there is no discernible delay. How is this possible? Does the matching up of the tracks happen in the audio interface or in the PC?
All answers appreciated.
