Alan another VTB-1 question.....

Alan,
i have a roland vs 2480 cd and a C-1 mic , i know you have posted on the vs planet so iam hoping you are familiar with the unit, my question is what would be the best way of by passing the 2480 mic pres with the vtb-1 ? and in your view would there be a noticeable difference with my C-1 ? thanks for your

I have never used a Roland unit, but I am told the only thing you can do is go into a line input into the Roland. I think if you go to the VS planet and post this, you will get much better response. There should be a way to get it in, but if you want to assign it to a specific track you may want to get better information than I can offer.

design looks pretty neat ! how bout a
digital out though ? ( for us guys with the digital hard disc recorders :)

If we do it, it will have SPDIF out!
