AKG D1000?

Ok, I was down at the pawn shop and I came across what appeared to be a rather old AKG microphone. I SWEAR it was a D1000...not a C1000...a D1000. So I'm thinking perhaps it was a Dynamic counterpart to the C1000 or something. Anyway, I can't find anything about this microphone. Any help?

Also, does JVC make studio monitors?

About all I can find about it is that it is a dynamic.. no luck on AKG's site.
 
I got onto dejanews last night and found out a little bit.

Apparently the D1000 was a dynamic mic comparable to the SM57 and was popular in the 70's and 80's. I saw a couple for sale in the 40-60 dollar range. Nothing worth buying though I guess.

For a second I was hoping I'd stumbled onto something cool...
