Anyone tried these microphones? . .

Interested in any comments please. .

yeah i got one........ i use it with a presonus blue tube....... i really like the mic... i don't have any other condensor mics to compare it to though... i think it sounds pretty good for vocals and acoustic guitars (the things i use it for)

anyway, i got some stuff at www.mp3.com/OriginalOrganism with it.... all vocals and acoustic guitars on all 5 songs up now use the mic......

hope that helps a little!

Re: AKG 2000 B

Hi Alan . .

Thanks for your comment . . I can buy a pair of these (new)
for a good price and am tempted . .

Looking around it would appear they are pretty decent mics
(for the price) . .

Had a listen to some of your material . . Excellent! Although
not quite my 'thing' . .

Talk again sometime . .

I just bought one of the AKG C 2000B mics and found that it sounds really nice for both amplifier mic'ing and acoustic guitar applications. What should you expect from AKG? After all, they've been around basically forever! I also use a C 4000B condensor of theirs [which is wonderful too]. And, these two mics compliment each other very well in the studio. I like the AKG C 2000B much better than a Shure 57 [when it's set up right]. AKG's are a lot more unforgiving than a 57 but that is why they sound so great when you've got a handle on where to place them. They are indispensible onstage for my needs. Frankly, I am bored with the SM-57s now.
